1 cup water
1/2 cup margarine/butter
1 cup flour
4 beaten eggs
Large container of Cool Whip
2 small instant vanilla pudding packages
3 cups milk
8 oz. cream cheese
Chocolate syrup for garnish
Note: This is not a traditional filled pastry. It is more like a cake, flat in a pan with layers. It may look different, but will taste just as good.
Boil water, add margerine/butter, stir until melted then remove from heat. Add flour and stir until smooth. Stir in eggs. Spread on a greased 9×13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. When fully baked, remove from over, pat down the bubbles and cool.
Beat pudding and add cream cheese. Spread mixture on cool pastry. Refridgerate for at least two hours. Top with Cool Whip and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Serve cool.
