One of my favorite desserts passed on down from my sister-in-law with the original recipe card below. A must for any birthday, perfect with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. (Or White Chocolate and Kahlua Whipped Cream if you want to get fancy). Go buck and have a White Russian to wash it down. Deceivingly light, this rich and moist cake will really pull your whole meal together.
**For the chocolate cake mix I go with Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge, but feel free to experiment; for the chips–Ghirardelli dark chocolate. Also, I tend to under cook it by a few minutes so it retains some of the gooey batter-like texture in the center. Adjust your back time depending on your pan.
