It’s practically summer and I couldn’t think of an easier recipe to share for those upcoming cook outs. I got this from my mom and it’s not really a recipe, more just a series of steps.
1 Pound Pasta (I like tri-color rotini)
Regular or Lite Italian Salad Dressing
1 Bag of Frozen Italian Medley Vegetables
McCormick Salad Supreme Seasoning
Boil your pasta then strain it. While the pasta is cooking, take your frozen veg and empty the bag into a serving bowl big enough to fit all the pasta. Take the cooked pasta and dump it right on the frozen veg. This will melt the ice and cool down the pasta. Pour about half a bottle of dressing over the pasta and veg, or just enough to coat everything. Don’t over do it with the dressing or your noodles will be a soggy mess swimming in oil. Stir everything up. Top liberally with Salad Supreme seasoning. Cover and let chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
